Professionally, I have been involved with permanent hair removal for over 38 years. I guess the real reason the whole thing started was that at the age of 13, I developed coarse black hair on my face, chest and abdomen due to a thyroid condition. It was devastating to me. I did what everybody else did. I shaved, waxed and plucked. Of course my condition got progressively worse.

Thirty years ago, there were very few practitioners with experience or legitimate training in electrolysis. Doctors knew very little about electrolysis, and cared about it even less. I went to many electrologists without much success. I didn’t realize that electrolysis was very difficult to master, and that only a few people did it well.

Eventually, and quite by accident, I met a woman who solved my hair removal problem quickly and permanently.
